If you consume alcoholic beverages, it's important to know whether your drinking patterns are safe, risky or harmful. These pages can help you find out. You can assess your own drinking, learn about alcohol and health issues, and find resources for additional help.

The following sets of diagnostic questionnaires are supposed to help you see exactly how you use alcohol. 'Are you still a social drinker or are you a heavy drinker? Are you a spiritual, mental, behavioural or physical alcoholic or addict? Exactly what kind of problem due you have; is it alcohol/substance abuse or is it alcohol/substance dependence? Do you even have a problem in the first place or are people just exaggerating your real situation?

Whether you drink alcohol or not, smoke or don't smoke, use Over The Counter (OTCs) prescriptions or not, these questionnaires may prove useful to you. they can help you define your drinking/drug using (licit or illicit) patterns.
